Warranty
Every Bannister Acoustics system is covered by a 2-year factory-direct warranty, handled by us rather than by a third-party administrator.

What is covered
For 2 years from the date of delivery we will repair or replace, at our option and at our cost, any part of the system that fails through a defect in materials or workmanship. That covers the integrated 7.1 digital receiver and its amplifier stages, the subwoofer and its Bass ZX module, the center channel, the satellite speakers and their drive units and tweeters, and the supplied remote control, cables, stand, brackets and antenna.
Who is covered
The warranty covers the original purchaser and is not transferable. Keep your order confirmation - it is the proof of purchase.
What is not covered
- Normal cosmetic wear, including marks on cabinets and grilles.
- Damage from misuse, accident, liquid ingress, uncovered outdoor exposure, insects or pests, or operation on a mains supply other than the one the system is rated for.
- Damage from sustained operation into clipping or distortion, which is the most common cause of driver and tweeter failure in any system of this type.
- Damage caused by modification, or by repair attempted by anyone other than us or a service centre we appoint.
- Damage in transit, which is handled as an insurance claim rather than a warranty claim - report it within 48 hours of delivery.
How to make a claim
- Email contact@bannisteracoustics.com with your order number, a description of the fault and, where it helps, a photograph or a short video. We reply within one business day with the next step.
- Most faults are resolved by shipping a replacement component - a satellite, a driver, a cable or the remote - which is far quicker than returning the whole system. Where the receiver or the bass module has to come back, we arrange and pay for the collection within the contiguous United States.
After a repair or replacement
A repaired or replaced part is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, or for ninety days from the repair, whichever is longer.
Your statutory rights
This warranty is given in addition to your rights under consumer law, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and applicable state law in the United States, and does not limit them. Some jurisdictions do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the limits above may not apply to you.
